The services provided by the Directorate are as follows:
- Collection and consolidation of data regarding entire nursing cadre from all over the Punjab
- Preparation of promotion cases of BPS-16, BPS-17, BPS-18 to Bs-19 and BS-19 to BS-20
- Preparation of seniority list
- Posting and transfer of Charge Nurse BS-16
- Submission of para-wise comments of court cases
- All categories of leave up to 89 days except ex-Pakistan leave / study leave, medical leave
- Issuance of No Objection Certificate (NOC) for passport
- Issuance of No Objection Certificate (NOC) for proceeding abroad of Charge Nurses
- Attestation of nursing documents for proceeding abroad
- Disciplinary cases like show-cause, warning, major penalty, minor penalty, enquiry proceeding & exonerate enquiry
